1)As a group, you will investigate one of the seven Ancient Wonders of the World learning about who built it, what tools were used in building it, when they built it, how long it lasted through time, why they built it, and what amazes you about it.

 

2)  You will present the facts you have learned in step one and share them with the rest of the class.   As a class, you will formulate a set of guidelines that all of the Seven Ancient Wonders meet to design a criteria rubric. 

 

3)  Using this rubric in your group,  you will investigate  three of the candidates listed on the New 7 Wonders Project Website, to find one that you think most exemplifies a "Wonder of the World."  You will create a travel brochure  using Publisher or Word  that explains what this new Wonder is and why it should be voted for.  As a class, we will then choose the three best Wonders and vote for them online.
